A flavorful crockpot meal combining ground beef, ranch seasoning, cheese, pasta shells, and beef broth for a creamy and easy dinner.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
12 oz medium pasta shells, uncooked
2 cups beef broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef along with the diced onion and minced garlic until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
2. Transfer the cooked beef mixture to the crockpot.
3. Add the ranch seasoning mix, condensed cheddar cheese soup, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, uncooked pasta shells, and beef broth to the crockpot. Stir everything together until well combined.
4. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, or until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. If desired, garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Use low-fat cheese to reduce calorie content.
Substitute ground turkey for a leaner version.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Stir occasionally during cooking to prevent sticking.
