Delightful tartlets combining creamy brie, tangy cranberry sauce, and a flaky puff pastry shell, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Puff Pastry: 1 package (2 sheets), thawed, or 24 pre-made tartlet shells
Flour: For dusting (if using puff pastry)
Brie Cheese: 8 ounces, cut into small cubes or slices
Cranberry Sauce: ½ cup, homemade or store-bought
Walnuts or Pecans (optional): ¼ cup, finely chopped, for added crunch
Fresh Rosemary or Thyme: 1 tablespoon, chopped, for garnish
Honey (optional): 2 tablespoons, for drizzling
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out puff pastry on floured surface and cut 3-inch circles.
Press each circle into greased mini muffin tin; prick bottoms with fork.
Place small piece of brie in each shell; top with cranberry sauce and nuts if using.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes until pastry is golden and cheese melted.
Cool 5 minutes before removing from tin.
Garnish with rosemary or thyme and drizzle with honey if desired.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
You can use pre-made tartlet shells to save time.
Nuts add a nice crunch but can be omitted for nut-free version.
Honey adds sweetness but is optional for a less sweet tartlet.
