Ingredients
1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
¼ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
Optional: chopped pecans or orange zest for topping
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease or line a mini muffin tin.
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Unroll the crescent dough and cut each triangle in half. Press each piece into the muffin cups.
Add about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture to each cup, then top with 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
If desired, sprinkle with chopped pecans or orange zest.
Bake for 11 to 13 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of cinnamon to the cream cheese mixture or a drizzle of honey over the baked bites.
These bites are best served warm but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
