Description

A warm and cozy golden turmeric pumpkin latte made with pumpkin puree, spices, and espresso. Perfect for an autumn morning or afternoon treat.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup canned pumpkin puree
1 cup milk (whole, almond, or oat)
½ cup strong brewed espresso or coffee
½ teaspoon ground turmeric
¼ teaspoon freshly grated ginger
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Whipped cream (dairy or coconut) for topping
Pinch of pumpkin spice or cinnamon
Cinnamon stick (optional)

Instructions

Start by measuring all the dry spices into a small bowl. Whisk together the turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, and black pepper until they are well combined. Add the freshly grated ginger at this point to ensure even distribution.
Combine the pumpkin puree, milk, brewed espresso or coffee, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a blender or saucepan, then add the prepared spice mix. Heat the mixture gently while stirring until warm and fully blended.
Pour the latte mixture into two mugs, allowing the foam to rise to the top. Finish each mug with a generous swirl of whipped cream and a light dusting of pumpkin spice or cinnamon. For an extra decorative touch, add a cinnamon stick if desired.

Notes

Use any milk you prefer such as whole, almond, or oat. For a sweeter latte, adjust the honey or maple syrup to taste. Whipped cream topping can be dairy or coconut-based for a dairy-free option.
