Ingredients
1 box of yellow cake mix (or any cake mix flavor of your choice)
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1 egg
Powdered sugar
Holiday sprinkles
Instructions
In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, vanilla, egg, and cream cheese until the mixture is fluffy and well combined.
Add the cake mix and blend until fully incorporated.
Place the dough in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Once chilled, roll the dough into balls, then coat them in holiday sprinkles.
Next, dip each ball into a bowl of powdered sugar, rolling until completely covered.
Arrange the coated balls on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack or serving plate.
