Simple roasted cauliflower steaks brushed with a flavorful lemon garlic olive oil mixture and a hint of red pepper flakes for a healthy dinner.
Ingredients
1/2 large head cauliflower, sliced lengthwise through the core into 2 steaks
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
A pinch of red pepper flakes, or to taste
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange the cauliflower steaks on the prepared baking sheet.
Combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and whisk well.
Brush the tops of the cauliflower steaks with half of the olive oil mixture.
