Delicious sugar cookie bars with a golden crust, made from sugar cookie and white cake mix combined for an easy treat.
Ingredients
1 pouch (1 lb) sugar cookie mix
1 (14.25 oz) box white cake mix
1 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease the bottom of a 13×9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine the sugar cookie mix, cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
Using an electric mixer, beat on low speed for 30 seconds.
Increase speed to medium and continue beating for about 1 minute or until well blended.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Allow to cool completely, about 1 ½ hours, before serving.
Notes
Make sure the butter is slightly cooled to avoid cooking the eggs.
Cooling completely ensures clean and neat bars when slicing.
