Delicious crispy rolls filled with savory Thai basil beef mixture, perfect as an appetizer or snack.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Spring roll wrappers
Oil for frying
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, Thai basil, minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly blended.
Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of a spring roll wrapper. Fold the sides over the filling and roll it up tightly.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the rolls for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the rolls from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with your preferred dipping sauce.
